A hacking group, NullCrew FTS, claims to have hacked servers belonging to Comcast and possibly gained access to the user account.
The group announced the successful hack on social mediao outlets. The intrusion is said to have given the group access to Comcast webmail and the master account that manages payment information.
According to www.TechSpot.com, ZDnet and many others. The compromised mail servers apparently run on a groupware email server client called Zimbra, whose Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) service contained a local file inclusion vulnerability, which the hackers were able to exploit in order to gain access to the credentials and passwords.
